Haig Hovsepian Selected to Be on NPR’s ‘From the Top’ in Atlanta

BELMONT, Mass. — Haig Hovsepian, a 2017 graduating senior from Belmont High School, will be performing on NPR’s “From the Top” Show in Atlanta on May 21. He will be accompanied by Christopher O’Riley.

Hovsepian is a violinist who attends New England Conservatory Preparatory School and will be attending Cleveland Institute of Music in the fall.

Recently he became the winner of the Highland Glee Club Music Scholarship Competition and on Sunday, April 24, performed at the Newton City Hall Auditorium as the competition winner.

Hovsepian was also announced recently by Boston Symphony Orchestra as the winner of the 2017 Concerto Competition. He will be performing with the orchestra in the 2017-18 season.
