BARI, Italy — Over the past week, the bronze plaque on an Armenian Genocide monument here was vandalized.
The Khachkar itself was not damaged, but the plaque, paying tribute to the friendship between Armenia and Italy, was taken.
The monument was completed in 2013 through the efforts of local resident Ruben Timuryan.
