WATERTOWN — The Armenian Mirror-Spectator welcomes new assistant editor, Gabriella Gage.

A native of Somerville, Mass., Gage attended Harvard University as an undergraduate and received her master’s in history from McGill University in Montreal, Quebec. She has worked as a research consultant for several authors and academics, and is a regular contributor to the Somerville Scout magazine.

In college, Gage became interested in Armenian history and developed an affinity for Armenian culture through friendships she has forged in Boston’s Armenian community.

“I’m very excited to be working at the Mirror-Spectator and to have the opportunity to learn and grow in the Armenian community,” Gage said.

“Gabriella brings a whole new perspective to our staff. She is young, bright and dynamic and is eager to learn,” said Mirror-Spectator editor Alin K. Gregorian. “I look forward to working with her.”
