YEREVAN (Armenpress) — Three members of the Armenian youth chess team have been awarded with the title of Grandmaster by FIDE, the World Chess Federation http://www.fide.com/.
Hayk Martirosyan, Manuel Petrosyan and Arman Michayelyan received the Grandmaster title during the 88th FIDE Congress.
Rafayel Bakunts was given the International Master title, and Sona Asatryan received the women’s international master title for winning the European U18 championship.
