YEREVAN (Armenpress) — Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on September 10 received a delegation led by the President of the Iraqi Federal Supreme Court, Judge Jassim Muhammad Aboud.
According to a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office, Pashinyan emphasized the importance of developing cooperation with Iraq in the field of constitutional justice and justice in general. He noted that he fondly remembers the Iraqi president’s visit to Armenia and his meetings with the Iraqi prime minister. Pashinyan added that such high-level mutual visits demonstrate the dynamic nature of bilateral relations. He also stressed the need to strengthen economic cooperation between Armenia and Iraq, noting that economic ties flourish where justice prevails.
The President of the Federal Supreme Court of Iraq expressed gratitude for the warm reception and noted that cooperation with Armenia in the field of constitutional justice is steadily progressing. Aboud highlighted the significant role of the Armenian community in Iraq in fostering the country’s development and strengthening ties with Armenia.
The two sides also exchanged ideas on the challenges in the field of constitutional justice and discussed possible solutions.
