COOKEVILLE, TN —The Hyeland Project announced recently the keynote speaker for the inaugural Armenian American Forum, set to take place during the first quarter of 2025 in Nashville, will be Garo Armen, an entrepreneur and philanthropist known for founding Agenus Inc., a biotechnology company focused on developing immunotherapies for cancer. He is also the founder of the Children of Armenia Fund (COAF), which aims to improve the lives of children and families in rural Armenia through education, healthcare, and community programs.

In addition to his keynote speech, Armen will participate in panel discussions addressing the need for collaboration across the Armenian-American community and the promise of network state governance technology.

Forum organizers encourage all those who are working to support the Armenian-American community to participate in the forum.

The Armenian-American forum is a neutral place for Armenian-American organizations, intellectuals, academics, and artists to connect, collaborate, and share.

The Hyeland Project is an initiative to form new Armenian communities using proven techniques to coordinate and facilitate the relocation to a new place. Its mission is to offer diverse lifestyle opportunities for Armenians in America and maintain strong connections to Armenian culture, among other things. The first implementation of this model is the Tennessee Hyeland Project, growing an Armenian-American community in the Upper Cumberland region of Tennessee.

The event will feature keynote speeches from prominent Armenian-American leaders, panel discussions on pressing issues facing the community, and networking opportunities designed to strengthen ties within this diaspora. Attendees will have the chance to engage in meaningful conversations about distributed governance, innovative educational and cultural initiatives, and opportunities for collaboration.
