ROME (Armenpress) — Henrikh Mkhitaryan has joint Armenia national football team. The Armenian team started trainings on September 2 ahead of games against Italy and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Mkhitaryan joined the trainings on September 3, because he was in Rome to sign a contract with the team “Roma.”
Armenia-Italy match will take place on September 5 and Armenia- Bosnia and Herzegovina on September 8 in Armenia.
Mkhitaryan will be on loan to Roma, providing the Italian football club with the opportunity to purchase Mkhitaryan’s transfer right for 15,000,000 euros next summer. Roma will pay Arsenal 4,000,000 euros for a one-year loan.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan, who transferred from Manchester United for 34,000,000 euros in January 2018, has a contract with Arsenal that will end in June 2021.
Mkhitaryan will play for Roma under the number 77.
