THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. — Hai Benefit Circle is planning its annual fundraising luncheon set to take place on Saturday, April 11, at Sherwood Country Club in Thousand Oaks. Themed “Shine Bright Like a Diamond,” the luncheon will begin with a social hour at 11 a.m. with complimentary wine. The social hour will include a selection of offerings in Hai Benefit Circle’s famous raffle and auction, followed by lunch and a special program not to be missed.

Set at the base of the majestic Santa Monica mountains in Thousand Oaks, Sherwood Country Club features a stately, Georgian-style golf clubhouse with a newly remodeled ballroom overlooking the golf course. Its grounds include Lake Sherwood, the oldest man-made lake in California. The natural beauty and solitude of the landscape surrounding the Club provide a feeling of being removed from the city. It is against this backdrop that Hai Benefit Circle’s luncheon will take place.

Founded in 1950, Hai Benefit Circle promotes educational, cultural and social activities and supports a number of charitable purposes. Since its inception, the organization has donated over $265,000 to various causes, most recently to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, Wounded Warrior Project, AMAA Armenian Orphans, Starlight Children’s Foundation, Armenian Medical Mission, the American Armenian Rose Parade Float, Battered Women’s Care Cottage and the Ararat Retirement Home of Mission Hills.

Janis Casparian and Dianne Ohanesian co-chair the event, and Marilyn Snyder is president of Hai Benefit Circle. The event is open to the public.

Sherwood Country Club is located at 320 West Stafford Road. Reservations are by check only; send checks payable to “Hai Benefit Circle” and a guest list to secure a table for 10 guests to Nanette Mikaelian, 17907 Tarzana St., Encino, CA 91316.
