YEREVAN (Armenpress) — The Armenian flag has been officially raised at the PyeongChang Winter Olympics, the National Olympic Committee announce.
The Armenian delegation arrived in the South Korean city on February 5.
The names of athletes participating in the 23th Winter Olympic Games were decided at the session of the Armenian Ski Federation held in Tsakhkadzor earlier this winter. Mikayel Mikayelyan and Katya Galstyan will represent Armenia in cross-country, and Ashot Karapetyan in Alpine skiing.
The Olympics will be held in South Korea February 9-25.
