16th Gagosian Gallery to Open in London

LONDON (Armenpress) — Gagosian Gallery will open its newest location in London, the 16th Gagosian in the world, on October 8. The gallery will be the third in the United Kingdom.

Faithful to his principles, Gagosian intends to mark the gallery’s opening with an exhibition featuring canvasses and other works by Cy Twombly, a great American painter, sculptor and photographer. He showcased the artist’s works also at the opening of his second gallery in Paris, reports the Russian website buro247.ru.

Based in Grosvenor Hill, central London, the gallery’s new branch will have a total area of 18,000 square meters.
