COPENHAGEN (Armenpress) — Turkish publisher Ragıp Zarakolu, who has long recognized the Armenian Genocide, was awarded with the Danish Poul Lauritzen Foundation’s Peace Award on December 10, according to DemokratHaber, for his great efforts in the spheres of freedom of thought and expression, as well as human rights.
Zarakoglu has published many books about the Armenian Genocide and visited Armenia several times, including the Armenian Genocide memorial complex.
