Michelle Mkhlian is an LA native who received her bachelor’s degree in Communication from the University of California, San Diego. During her time at UCSD, she served as a resident advisor, mentor coordinator for the Triton Community Leadership Institute, and President of the Sixth College Student Council. Her love of writing, food, and student outreach came to life during her time as a content creator for Triton Eats, a student blog about healthy eating and living.
Michelle is the creator of “Hayaser the Podcast” a podcast that discusses how intergenerational trauma has impacted Armenian Americans- specifically, their views about life, love, and marriage. When she’s not writing for the Mirror-Spectator, Michelle can be found singing, cooking, painting, or spending time with family and friends.
