CHICAGO (Armenpress) — Three-time Olympic champion Grandmaster Gabriel Sargissian and took first place at the Chicago Chess Open tournament. Priyadharshan Kannappan of India came in second, according to the Chess Federation of Armenia.
This was Sargissian’s third victory in the Chicago Open, with the previous wins there in 2009 and 2012.
