Sports Reporter Karen Guregian to Speak at Joint Trinity Men’s Union and St. James Men’s Club Dinner on October 5

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. —The Trinity Men’s Union of Holy Trinity Armenian Church will have as guest speaker Karen Guregian, sports reporter and New England Patriots beat writer for the Boston Herald, at its joint dinner meeting with the St. James Men’s Club on Monday, October 5.

The dinner is hosted by the Trinity Men’s Union and will be held in the Charles and Nevart Talanian Cultural Hall, 145 Brattle St. All are welcome to attend.

David Dorian, chairman of the Trinity Men’s Union, stated “We are excited to have Karen give us an insider’s view of the Patriots and Boston sports; this should be an incredibly interesting evening.”

Guregian has been a member of the Boston Herald sports staff since 1984, performing a variety of jobs. Since 2007, she has covered the Patriots fulltime, both as the main beat writer as well as beat columnist. Previously, the Chelmsford native and Northeastern University graduate was a longtime Bruins writer and also a key contributor to the paper’s Red Sox coverage.

A two-time Boston Magazine “Best of Boston” award winner in the outstanding sports reporter category, Guregian has covered Super Bowls, World Series, Stanley Cups, NBA finals, golf and tennis majors, and the Olympics during her Herald career.

The evening will begin with the social hour at 6 p.m., followed by dinner at 7 p.m. Donation for the losh kebab and kheyma dinner is $15 per person. RSVP is requested by October 3 by emailing tmuhtaac@gmail.com or calling the Holy Trinity Church office.
