Michael Rettig is currently an adjunct instructor in the History Department at Clovis Community College. He graduated from California State University, Fresno with a Master’s in History in 2017. His thesis, “Armenians in British Intelligence during World War I,” won the Outstanding Thesis Award for the College of Social Sciences. Rettig served as the editor of Hye Sharzhoom from 2015-2018 and has since contributed to various local papers. As an active member of the Fresno Armenian community, Rettig serves on the executive board of the Armenian Genocide Commemorative Committee.
