The Armenian Student Association (ASA) at the University of California, Berkeley invites you to join them in commemorating the Armenian Genocide Awareness Week (AGAW) from April 24-27, 2023. Through a series of enlightening events, ASA aims to raise awareness about the Armenian Genocide, honor the memory of its victims, and educate attendees on Armenian history and culture. Kicking off the week on Monday, April 24, 2023, at 7:30 PM, a poignant candlelight vigil will be held at UC Berkeley’s Memorial Glade, where participants will gather around a monument dedicated to the victims of the Armenian Genocide. This moving event will include an overview of the monument, its theme, and the significance of the community in supporting AGAW. Additionally, attendees will have the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing decoration of the monument. All are welcome to participate in this meaningful and educational week.
