The Raising of the Armenian Flag and a Commemorative Program will be held at at Lowell City Hall to mark the 106th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. The program will include the Lowell Armenian-American Veterans Honor Guard, a Proclamation from the City of Lowell, ACYOA and AYF speakers, and a message from the office of Congresswoman from Lorin Trahan. This year’s commemoration, organized by the Armenian National Committee, Merrimack Valley (ANC-MV) with the participation of all area Armenian Churches and Organizations, is being held in memory of ANC member, Aram Jeknavorian, who organized this event for many years.
