The Center for Holocaust, Human Rights & Genocide Education (Chhange) is proud to announce the public opening of our new exhibit Journeys Beyond Genocide: The Human Experience. This exhibit visitors to the compelling human story behind the Armenian Genocide, the Holocaust, and the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda. Using video testimony and archival items of local survivors, personal history becomes the dynamic vehicle with which visitors connect the lessons of genocide to today’s world. Visits conclude with Stand Up for Human Rights, an interactive technology section which enables student groups to explore, process, and take action on current humanitarian crises in their communities and around the world.
Our Public Opening takes place on Sunday, April 8th from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm in the Chhange exhibit gallery. The opening is free to all attendees. Once opened, the exhibit is $10.00 per person and $7.00 per person for groups of 8 or more people.
