YEREVAN (Panoram.am) — Eva Gevorgyan, the 15-year-old Russian-Armenian pianist, and a participant of numerous competitions and festivals, the laureate of world famous competitions, obtained Armenian citizenship, Panorama.am learned on November 19 from the Armenian National Philharmonic Orchestra (ANPO).
According to the source, Gevorgyan has recently performed with the ANPO in the frames of “Young Artists Program” and obtained Armenian citizenship. “We look forward to seeing her on international staged in Armenia,” the Orchestra said a in a statement.
“I became a citizen of the Republic of Armenia and am very happy to have the chance to ”
represent the two mother countries all over the world!” Eva wrote on het Facebook page.
Eva is studying at the music school under the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory. She has been playing the piano since age 3. She has been taking part in international music competitions and festivals since she was 15 years old.
According to the experts, she does not simply play; she strives to convey the music to the audience in its full depth and beauty.
