MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. — During a private event on Monday night, September 23 at the office of Synopsys, a semi-conductor tech firm in the heart of Silicon Valley, a couple of hundred Bay Area Armenians welcomed Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
During his presentation, Pashinyan emphasized the importance and urgency of connecting the resources in Armenia with the technology sector of the region. This was followed by a brief question-and-answer session. The event was sponsored by AGBU Silicon Valley Chapter under the leadership of Dr. Yervant Zorian, AGBU Central Board Member, founding president of the Armenian Virtual College, and Chief Architect of Synopsys.
