Aznavour Taken Ill in Russia


PETERSBURG, Russia (Public Radio of Armenia) — French Armenian singer Charles Aznavour was hospitalized in St. Petersburg on April 25, the Russian NTV channelreports.

Aznavour, 93, felt ill right during the rehearsal of a concert that was expected on that day. An ambulance took him to hospital.

He returned to France on April 27 to continue treatment.

Promoters have said the concert will be moved to April 9, 2019.
