BOSTON — The Massachusetts Armenian Genocide Commemoration Committee will host a commemoration of the Armenian Genocide on Saturday, April 21, at the Armenian Heritage Park on the Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway at 3 p.m. and is expected to conclude at 5 p.m.

This year will mark the 103rd anniversary of the 1.5 million Armenians massacred by the Ottoman Empire in 1915. The focus of this year’s program will be on coming together as a community, united against genocide.

The event, open to the public, will feature as speakers Massachusetts State Rep. David Muradian, editor of the Armenian Weekly Rupen Janbazian, and more. Singer R-Mean and the Zangakner Performing Arts Ensemble will perform.

Buses will leave from the Armenian Cultural and Educational Center, St. James Armenian Apostolic Church, and Holy Trinity Armenian Apostolic Church.
