ABIDJAN, Cote d’Ivoire (Public Radio of Armenia) — The Armenian freestyle wrestling team has captured another medal at the VIII Games of La Francophonie taking place in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, July 21-30.
According to the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs, wrestler Marzpet Galstyan (86kg) won the silver medal on July 25.
Earlier, the Armenian freestyle wrestlers claimed 5 medals – 1 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze – at the championship.
Two Armenian judokas will enter into the competition this week.
