New Exhibit at Berlin Art Space

BERLIN — A new exhibition of works by Kevork George Kassabian will go on display at the InteriorDAsein/Berlin space starting this week. On October 29, from 3 p.m. until October 30, 3-8 p.m. and by appointment. The exhibit will close on November 6.

Kassabian was born in Aleppo, Syria, studied engineering and programming in Canada and graduated with a bachelor’s in fine arts from the University of Western Ontario. His exhibition participation dates back to 1968. Since 1973 he has participated in solo shows.

Kassabian gained numerous awards and erected several sculptures as commitment works in Canada and in Syria. Since 2003 he lives and works in the Republic of Armenia.

The exhibition “Selected Reflections” by Kevork George Kassabian is the first show of his
works and project documentations in Germany. InteriorDAsein, located in the borough of Wedding
in Berlin, is managed by Archi Galentz as an artist-run space. Since November 2008, we have been operating as an independent civil-society platform facilitating intercultural conversation. Our focus
is cultural exchange with the Caucasus region. We have presented over 30 curated exhibitions, readings, film screenings and artists’ conventions.

InteriorDAsein/Berlin is located at Steegerstrasse 2, 13359 Berlin.
