KARS (PanARMENIAN.Net) — The dismantling of the “Monument to Humanity” here started on the threshold of the Armenian Genocide anniversary.
The monument will be divided into two parts. Special equipment will be brought from Istanbul for the operation that started April 16 following a decision of Erzerum administrative court after Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan labeled the statue “monstrous.”
