BELMONT, Mass. — On April 25, the Belmont Board of Selectmen, during its weekly meeting, will issue a proclamation to commemorate the 96th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, at Belmont High School. The meeting will start at 6 p.m.
Several residents of Belmont, led by Jirair Hovsepian, persevered and received from the board the commitment to issue the proclamation.
The meeting will be aired on the local access channel.
